Reed Clemons, CFP®

Reed started his career in finance in 2015 as an analyst at Oxbow Advisors, but he quickly realized what he enjoyed most was working directly with people. That led him to become a financial advisor with Momentum Independent Network in 2016, and in 2019 he teamed up with his partner Jim to form the Kaighin & Clemons Advisory Team.

Reed helps individuals, families, and business owners build personalized planning and investment strategies. He believes careful planning comes first and is the foundation of every client relationship. Reed makes a point of staying connected to what's happening in each client's life, not just their portfolios.

Reed grew up in Corpus Christi and now calls San Antonio home. He earned his bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Texas, where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta, and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2021. Outside of work, he volunteers with the local Rotary club and the Young Men's Business League of Austin. On weekends, you'll find him walking his dog Max around the neighborhood, riding his road bike, or playing a round of golf.
