Reed Clemons, CFP®

Reed began his career as a financial analyst at Oxbow Advisors. After working as an analyst, Reed wanted to pursue a role that would allow him to leverage his knowledge of investments and work one on one with clients, so he joined Momentum Independend Network (MIN) in 2016 as a financial advisor. 

Reed focuses his practice on helping individuals, families, and business owners create bespoke planning & investment strategies. Reed believes that a "planning first" mentality is essential to develop the necessary framework for any client relationship.

"At the end of the day, I understand that people want to work with someone they trust. Financial planning, investment strategies, legacy planning, or insurance can come off as cryptic. My vow is to simplify all of these relative items into one cohesive plan so you can stop worrying and go live your best life." 

Reed earned a bachelors degree in Finance from the University of Texas in 2015 and gained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2021. Reed was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX and now calls Austin his home. At the University of Texas, Reed was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. Currently, Reed volunteers with the Austin Resource Center for the Homeless (ARCH) and the Young Men's Business League (YMBL) of Austin. On the weekends, you can find Reed walking around Tarrytown with his dog Max or golfing at the Local Muny.
